Working in store is busy and physically demanding and you not only need to be confident dealing with customers, you need to be fit to handle the volume of stock that we sell.

Role Profiles

Area Manager

If you could lead our store teams and deliver the highest standards of quality and service, this could be the exciting and rewarding challenge you've been waiting for.

You'll be a genuine motivator, someone who inspires people to achieve targets while creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in their stores. A positive attitude, along with an energetic ‘can do’ approach are essential in the role.

A commercial achiever, you'll also have a proven track record of success in retail management and a full driving licence.

Retail Support Co-ordinators

With proven retail management experience, this is your opportunity to move your career to the next level and enjoy a bigger role.

Working in the field, you'll have a wide range of responsibilities and challenges, including new store openings and relief cover for new managers. You’ll also be giving vital assistance to the Area Manager on a range of issues.

We're looking for strong team leaders to deliver an exceptional service, so you’ll need to be energetic and ambitious, with excellent organisational and merchandising skills. Bring us your ambition and we'll give you the support to build your career and experience.

Store Managers

Your role will be to motivate and inspire the team that makes the store a success – helping them to work together to achieve their goals. You'll certainly be busy - but you’ll be leading from the front, getting stuck into everything that keeps the store running smoothly every day.

Customer service, along with a strong work ethic are key in this role and you’ll need to be a good communicator who gets on well with every kind of person.

Strong organisational and administration skills are essential too. As well as a commercially focused approach and the tenacity to meet targets, we’ll be looking for proven, retail leadership experience.

Assistant Manager

With experience in a busy retail environment, this is your chance to work closely with the Store Manager to deliver exceptional customer service.

You’ll be involved in all aspects of your store’s operation, from handling cash, achieving targets and controlling stock, to keeping your team buzzing and motivated.

You certainly won’t be bored as no two days will be the same – but as the kind of person who thrives in a busy and fast-paced environment you’ll enjoy working hard and keeping your store running smoothly.

Sales Assistant

If you’re friendly, outgoing and committed to customer service, you can join our team and make Card Factory the most welcoming place on the high street.

It’s a very busy environment, so you will need to be energetic, well organised and happy to be part of a close-knit team. You’ll also need some customer service experience and if you have 3rd key holder responsibility you will deputise for the Assistant Manager in their absence.

We all work hard here, but we enjoy ourselves, too. In fact, colleagues soon become friends and if you’re looking for a rewarding new role and have some retail or customer service experience, you’ll love it.
